All hawo's mills are wooden mills - predominantly finely structured beechwood, treated with a linseed oil. The industrial motors used in the different mill types have high specifications and are well able to take more stress then the average household will ever demand. That is why we offer a three year guarantee on the motor.

The milling stones - only stone can mill really fine and stay cool at the same time - are made from corundum and a ceramic mixture. The result is an extremely hard wearing stone.

Square or octagonal !?
hawo's mills come in two different shapes: the standard 'square' mill or the beautifully shaped 'Oktagon'.
