Many commercial horticultural enterprises use blocking machines to produce soil blocks for propagation - because it is efficient, cheap and creates good size plugs with a high rate of establishment after planting out.

For the smaller grower we offer hand blockers. All are made from steel and are zinc plated for durability - and, as the makers proudly say: "designed for minimum effort and maximum reliability".

With the Professional Blocker it is easy to produce quantities of blocks - either in batches of 20 blocks of 38x38x50mm BLOP1 or 12 blocks 50x50x50mm BLOP2.

The Hand Blocker, BLO860 is ideal for the hobby gardener - Capacity: 4 blocks of 50x50x50mm .

The Micro 20, BLOM20 makes twenty 2cm blocks (3/4") to start seeds off.

When the plants are ca. 2" high they should be 'transplanted' into the bigger blocks - which can be made with indentations to take the Micro blocks. -This system requires less space and heating compared to big blocks.
