No other than Johann Wolfgang von Goethe has invented this beautiful barometer. The coloured water in the spout of the barometer rises and falls depending on the pressure. It gives a clear indication if there is good weather coming (=high pressure) or if a storm is on its way. Mouth-blown decorative glass. Colours provided to tint the water. A thermometer is worked into the timber base of the Goethe Barometer.
