This is one of the most damaging pests in ornamental pot plants, in strawberries or hardy ornamental stock and fruit. The nematode Steinernema kraussei is a natural predator of the Vine Weevil. It is available under the trade name Nemasys L. Works only on the larvae - not on the adult beetle. Best applied September-April
Dissolve in water and drench soil. Soil temperature must be +5°C or higher .
