This is the first organic slug pellet on the market. Based on Iron Phosphate it is completely harmless to animals - from earthworms, to beetles, hedgehogs or dogs and cats. It is not poisonous to fish or birds. This is what we were all waiting for:the ultimate remedy in the eternal fight of gardeners against slugs!
The bait is rainproof - it actually requires moisture to expand and becomes more attractive to slugs. If not eaten the pellets will be broken down by soil bacteria and turned into natural occurring Iron and Phosphate = fertiliser.
Apply 5g/m2 well scattered over the total area which requires protection. Can be used in conjunction with NEAMASLUG (see opposite page): the nematodes work in the soil and attack small slugs which move in the top layer of the soil. Big slugs move on the surface and will be attracted to the pellets.
