Natural Cutting Board Oil
The best oil to use for chopping boards. Based on cold pressed linseed oil, Ardvos 266 penetrates the wood deeply giving protection when the outer layer is inevitably eroded by knife action. As with all Livos oils, it is made to the highest of environmental and health standards.
Best results will be achieved if your chopping board is sanded, clean and dry. Shake bottle well before using to mix the wax ingredient through the oil. Apply a generous coat of oil and let it sit for 20-30 mins to allow absorbtion into the wood. Wipe excess off with a lint free cloth. A second coat should be applied (requiring just a few drops now) and polished in to give the best finish.
