Pink Fir Apple - Seed Potatoes

  • Pink Fir Apple potatoes are a late maincrop/salad, but some people like to plant it early in tunnels, where it performs very well!
  • Has the most superb 'new potato' flavour that lasts well into the New Year.
  • It was originally imported to the UK from France in 1850.
  • We recommend that you start chitting / sprouting Pink Fir Apple potatoes in the beginning of March. This will give them four to five weeks to develop healthy sprouts just at the time when they are ready to be planted out. Keep the potatoes in cool but light conditions to ensure they grow short, green sprouts.
