GLASER WHEEL HOES

The wheel hoe is widely used around the world in small scale field and market garden operations. An effective an efficient tool with a selection of implements which can be adjusted to suit various jobs, crops and spacings. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Far quicker than hand hoeing without tiring the user. Made in Switzerland.

Model 500 - 1 wheel for cultivation between two rows (10.5kg).

All attachments will fit on this hoe. The Model 500 Wheelhoe can be turned into a a two wheel version with a kit: Conversion set No. 675

Model 700 'Pico' - 1 wheel 'light version' - very easy to handle (6kg).

The 'Pico' is the smallest of the wheel hoes. It is excellent to use in situations with narrow row spacings. All implements can be mounted except the Ridger no. 540 and the large oscillating hoes with two oscillating joints. Additionally a swivel joint no. 780 can be mounted. With this joint it's possible to turn the handle about 50cm to either side. This avoids treading on prepared soil

Model 600 - Double wheeled for passing over crop and cultivating both sides in one pass. Not in stock - can be ordered.

Implements for Glaser Wheel Hoes

• Oscillating Knives (Hoes) from 125mm (5") to 350mm (14") for soil cultivation and weed control in young crops. The 500 can use both 2 joint and 1 joint knives. The 'Pico' will only fit the 1 joint knives.
• Goose Foot Knives from 120mm (4¾") to 250mm (10") for weed control in advanced crops with strong leaves.
• Cultivator (3 teeth) and Ridger 200mm (8") for cultivation of compacted soil, earthing of crops, making seed drills, watering channels and earthing of mulch films.
