Tercol Repels Harmful Soil Insects and their Larvae

A highly concentrated composition of specific herbs in a watery base. Available in liquid (L), grain (K) and granular (G) form. This product can be used in Biological Crop Care in agriculture, horticulture, gardens and parks, where harmful soil insects and larvae occur.

These insects include:

  • leather-jackets
  • carrot rootfly
  • weevils
  • cutworms
  • wireworms
  • flea beetle
  • copper worm
  • onionfly
  • white grubs etc.
  • chafer grubs

This is absorbed by the roots and the soil. Partly due to the root stimulating and nutritional components, roots and leaves will develop an increased resistance against pests. In addition the treated soil becomes unattractive for the pests and causes them to move to greater depths - outside of the rootzone. The crops develop their own defence system/resistance and continue to grow without pest interference.

Application

Tercol should be applied as a preventative, especially when the field/crop has a history of pest damage. But can still be successfully applied in case of acute damage and deterioration. However it is recommended to discuss the application details with your adviser.

  • Apply by watering can or sprayer
  • For best effect apply in damp conditions or before rain
  • If applied in dry conditions watering is necessary (10mm)
  • Light damage: 30-60ml diluted in 3Ltr of water for 30m2
  • -1ltr Tercol to 50 ltr Water on 1000m2
  • Heavy damage: 60ml diluted in 3Ltr of water for 30m2
  • -2ltr Tercol to 50 ltr Water on 1000m2
  • For vulnerable species Tercol can be mixed with the soil in the plant hole
  • A follow up treatment may be necessary (depending on weather and disease pressure)
  • Tercol is approved for use in organic.
