Duke of York Seed Potatoes

  • Duke of York is a fast growing potato that produces oval, creamy/yellow-skinned tubers with light yellow flesh of superb flavour.
  • 12 weeks from planting to harvest. Chitting is important, see here for more info.
  • Height and spread: Short
  • The potatoes are regularly oval shaped, light golden skin and waxy texture.
  • The eyes are shallow and this makes for easy peeling.
  • This potato is an old heritage variety and was introduced in 1891. Known for their great taste and versatility in cooking; boiling, roasting, salads.
