Lebosol Hepta Zinc for Organic Agriculture
Zinc (Zn) is an essential micronutrient for plant health. It is only needed in small quantities but has a crucial role in a range of plant processes including protein synthesis, chlorophyll formation, transformation and regulation of sugars and auxin.
Zinc availability is low on soils either very high or very low in organic matter, those with high pH-value and those with excess phosphorus. Zinc deficiency is shown by pale stripes, orange tinge, stunted plants and small leaves. It is difficult to identify by sight and is best determined by a soil or leaf analysis.
Application:
- In cereals to improve tillering, yield, N efficiency and stability. 2-3 applications of 2L/ha from 3-leaf-stage. An application in autumn for winter cereals improves winter hardiness.
- In all crops to provide zinc. 1-3 L/ha (with foliar fertiliser in at least 200 liters of water. Upon application with backpack sprayer 0.25 - 0.5%.)
