Pepper 'Red Gunda'

Red Gunda is a high yielding Thai chili variety with a medium-hot flavour.  Plants are tall; 70-100cm with 7-12 cm long, deep red fruits that grow in upright bunches on the plants. Suitable as an attractive pot or container plant, indoors or on a sheltered balcony. Can be used fresh or for drying to make chilli flakes or powder. Each packet contains approx. 23 seeds, sufficient for approx. 15 plants.  More details below

Organic Pepper 'Red Gunda' seeds

Growing schedule: Sow from Janurary to March in a propagator or on a warm windowsill. Pot on into larger pots as needed until temperatures are warm enough to transfer into a polytunnel or glasshouse in May.

Sowing depth: 1cm

Germination: Pepper seeds germinate most successfully between 20-24 °C. Once seedlings appear, temperature should be reduced to 16-18°C.

Planting distance: 70 x 50 cm

Growing conditions: Peppers require full sun, warmth and fertile, moist, well-draining soil. They are very cold sensitive.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approx. 23 seeds, sufficient for approx. 15 plants.
