4.0 is a multi-use and productive pasture mix for all soils. The higher percentage of ryegrasses make 4.0 especially suitable for fertile soils. 10kg bag. 93% organic seed. Organic licensees will need to obtain a derogation for the non organic part from their certification body before planting these seeds. More details below.

Suitable for silage, hay and grazing. Excellent fodder yields due to dense sward with high clover levels. Ideal for low N-input regimes. Pastures with a diverse mixture of species provide numerous benefits. Clovers and other legumes produce nitrogen and high protein feed. The inclusion of deep rooting grasses provide resilience to drought and improve soil structure. A balanced mixture with a good variety of grasses, clovers and herbs will fill the ecological niches of the pasture. This variety makes them higher yielding than monocultures and better at keeping weeds out.
