Everlasting Flower 'Roggli Riesen'
Everlasting Flower (Xerochrysum bracteatum) is a traditional dry flower with colourful papery petals.This tall branching plant works well in flower borders and as a cut flower and is particularly well-suited to dried flower arrangements. Easy to cultivate, Xerochrysum bracteatum requires little attention once established and will bloom right up to the first frost. 'Roggli Riesen' has a mix of red, yellow, pink and white blooms. Organic Xerochrysum bracteatum (Strawflower) ‘Roggli Riesen’ Seeds

Growing schedule: Sow under cover from late March to May for flowering from July to September. Sow direct outdoors once all risk of frost has passed.
Sowing depth: Cover with only a thin layer of soil (as Xerochrysum bracteatum seeds need light to germinate) and keep moist.
Planting distance: 30 x 30cm
Growing conditions: Xerochrysum bracteatum prefers full sun and has good drought resistance. It does well in poor to moderate, neutral to alkaline, well-drained soils.
Harvest: Flowers can be harvested as a cut flower once 2-4 rows of petals have opened.
Number of seeds: Each packet contains 0.5g of organic seed.
