Planting distance: 40 - 60cm between plants; 75cm between rows

Growing conditions: Aubergines like rich soil, warmth and high humidity; so must be grown indoors. Choose a sunny spot for best results.

Harvest: From mid-July through to mid October.

Ongoing care:

  • It can help to put water next to them if you can as aubergine likes high humidity.
  • Encourage side shoots by nipping out the main stem when about 25cm tall.
  • Once the first fruit has set, feed plants every week or two with a liquid feed high in potassium such as Vinasse Tomato and Plant Food.
  • This variety has upright growth and may require support.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 24 organic seeds, enough for around 15 plants.
