Organic 'Laibacher Eis' Lettuce Seeds
Growing schedule: Sow under cover from February or direct outside from April until mid-July. Sow successively for continuous cropping.
Sowing depth: Cover seeds with only a very thin layer of compost as lettuce seeds need light to germinate.
Germination: The ideal germination temperature is 10-15 °C, max. 18 °C.
Planting distances: In a green house plants can be spaced 25x25 cm; in open ground ca. 30x30 cm.
Growing conditions: Lettuce can grow in most soil types as long as they’re well-draining and not too acidic – but it thrives in fertile enriched soil. Lettuce prefers cooler temperatures and will bolt when the temperature gets too high.
Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 190 seeds, enough for 120 plants.
