Organic Celery 'Tall Utah' seeds
Growing schedule: Sow indoors from late March to April to transplant out in May. Can be direct sown in a seed bed in May
Sowing depth: Sow on the surface of moist compost and cover with a fine layer of vermiculite or compost. Seeds should be barely covered.
Germination: 15-25ׄ°C with the optimum being 20°C. Germination is temperature dependent and can be slow 10-20 days.
Planting distance: Sow in rows 30 cm apart. Plant spacing 30cm.
Growing conditions: Grow in fertile moist soil that is not water-logged. Young seedlings should be kept warm until well established as low temperatures (lower than 10°C for longer than 12 hours) can cause early bolting. Better to wait until the soil warms up
Ongoing care: keep moist in dry weather
Harvest: July to late Oct
Number of seeds: Each pack contains enough for 150 plants
