Growing schedule: Sow First Early May pea seeds indoors in February for an early crop or sow direct outside from March to early June for harvesting from June through September.
Sowing depth: 4-5cm
Planting distance: 3cm between plants with 30-45 cm between rows; or double rows (with support) 60-80 cm apart
Growing conditions: Garden peas prefer full sun with some shelter on moist fertile well-draining soils with a neutral pH. If soil is very acidic, it should be limed beforehand.
Ongoing care: Pick peas continuously through the season to keep plants producing.
