'Costata Romanesco' is a traditional Italian heirloom courgette variety that produces pale green fruits with Yellow longitudinal stripes.  This variety is high yielding producing tender, delicious fruits.  Perfect for stuffing, roasting, or slicing fresh when young. Organic Courgette 'Costata Romanesco' seeds

Sowing schedule: Sow in pots from mid-March to plant out under cover from late April. Sow from mid-April to plant outside in May once soil temperatures have warmed up and the last risk of frost has passed. Sow direct outside from late May to mid-June.

Sowing depth: 6mm (sow seeds on their edge rather than flat, to improve germination)

Germination: The ideal germination temperature is 18-20°C.

Planting distance: 100 x 100 cm

Growing conditions: Courgettes prefer warmth and full sun with fertile, moist, well-draining soil.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 10 organic seeds.
