Organic Cornsalad 'Elan' Seeds

Growing guidelines: Direct sow outside from late July until mid-September, for harvesting from early September. Sow under cover from September till October for growing on indoors, to produce an overwintering crop that can last through to the spring. This variety is not suitable for earlier summer sowing as leaves tend to curl in high temperatures.

Sowing depth: 1cm

Planting distance: 1.5 - 4cm between plants; 15cm between rows.

Germination: Ideal germination temperature is 10 - 15°C.

Growing conditions: Cornsalad is tolerant of most soil conditions, but thrives in well-fertilised soil. Keep well watered during dry weather.

Harvest: Harvest when plants have developed 3-5 leaves. For cut-and-come-again salad, only harvest several leaves at a time and the plant will continue to grow.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 4g organic seed, enough to cover 6m².
