Capillary Matting for Propagation
- The matting consists of three layers: a PE-film as bottom layer, the Vivapol sponge matting which stores the water and a woven polypropylene cover as top layer
- Plants draw the water through capillary action out of the sponge matting when the soil is getting too dry.
- Water absorption capacity: appr. 3L/m². A 2m x 5m section of this Capillary Matting stores up to 30 litres of water.
