Cosmos, Pink Mix
Cosmos bipinnatus is an annual with delicate branching foliage and bright flowers that are very attractive to pollinators. This mix is particularly tall and comes in a combination of pinks and white, bringing a distinctive dash of colour to the garden. Cosmos is easy to grow and can be used as a cut flower. Each packet contains approximately 90 organic seeds. More details below.
Organic Cosmos bipinnatus Seeds
Characteristics:
- Annual
- Colour mix: bright pink, light pink and white
- Height: 100-150cm
Sowing: Sow from March to May for flowering from June to September. Start seeds indoors from March or alternatively sow directly outside from mid-April.
Sowing depth: 1-2cm
Germination: Seeds usually take a week to germinate at a temperature between 15-25°C.
Planting distance: 30 x 30cm
Growing Conditions: Cosmos does well on a poor, well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Ongoing care: Tall plants may need staking. Dead head regularily to ensure a long display.
Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 90 organic seeds, enough for 50 plants.
