NATURAL DECKING OIL
ALIS 579 decking oil is a high quality impregnating oil for the treatment and care of decking as well as wooden terraces, windows and facades. It is specially formulated for the types of hard woods normally used in decking such as Teak, Larch, Douglas Fir, Cedar and Bangkirai. It provides a UV resistant surface which is water repellent and hard wearing. As with all Livos products, it is manufactured to the highest of environmental standards. Being approved for use on toys, it is also an excellent choice for outdoor wooden playgrounds and garden furniture.

Ingredients - Depending on the color possibly different ingredients: Isoaliphates, linseed oil - stand oil - natural resin ester, wood oil, micronized wax, mineral pigments, titanium dioxide, linseed oil, silicic acid, orange oil, dehydrated amino sugar, castor oil - stand oil, linseed oil - wood oil - stand oil, linseed oil - stand oil, pine oil, soya lecithin, chalk, kaolin, and drying agents free of lead (Ca, Co, Zn, Zr)
APPLICATION
Coverage - The coverage of decking oil will vary greatly depending on the type and finish of the wood being used. On average, 1 liter will cover 20-25m² with the first coat and twice that with the second. Coverage will be less on rough or soft timber and more on sanded or hard timber. A test application will determine for sure. Drying time is approximately 5-8 hours and subsequent coats can be applied after 18 hours.
Preparation – The surface should be dry and free of dust. Apply with a brush or roller in the direction of the wood grain on a dry day. For technical data and more specific application advice please click HERE.
