1L Mycorrhiza for Propagation and Nurseries

€35.50

Mycorrhizal biostimulant containing a mix of specially selected fungi to boost plant health. Ideal for mixing with substrates at propagation. Approved for use in organic agriculture. More details below.

INOQ Top - Mycorrhiza for Propagation and Nurseries

INOQ Top can be blended with other substrates or used directly when sowing or planting out. The light weight carrier material is easy to manage and perfect for gardening, nurseries landscaping, and the creation of green roofs. The granules contain clay minerals and GMO free living microorganisms (soil fungi). The introduction of the fungi produces mycorrhiza, which in turn helps with stress tolerance in plants, as well as pest and disease resistance. It also promotes increases biological activity and enhanced soil porosity. This allows for a reduction in fertilizer use and promotes healthy living soil.

Application Rate

  • Mixing with substrate: 1-5% at sowing or - 5-10%
  • Mixing with seeds: 10-20ml per 1000 seeds
  • In planting hole: 20ml per plant up to 15cm root ball
  • In planting hole: for root ball 15cm-40cm up to 100ml
  • Surface treatment: 100ml per m²

Storage

2 years, between 4 °C and 15 °C under dark and dry conditions. Avoid breathing or ingestion

Mycorrhizae: Nature's Stress Managers

Since fungal threads can grow many metres from the roots and are microscopically thin, they end up in places where roots can never reach. This makes the extended root system hundreds of times greater than for plants that must make do without these auxiliaries, making it much easier for them to absorb water and nutrients.

Mycorrhiza fungi take care of the living interface between the absorbing root system and the soil biology. An ample number of scientific studies show that the presence of useful mycorrhiza fungi noticeably improves plant health. They can also make do with less fertiliser. In addition, organic fertilisers are utilised better. The mycorrhizae thereby support plant resistance; they improve growth and the crop produces more fruit of better quality.

Plants with mycorrhizae are more resistant to drought, severe temperature variations, pH changes, toxic metals and soil compacting. Mycorrhizae also ensure better soil structure due to their contribution to forming ‘soil aggregates’.
