Ribgrass/Plantain 'Ecotain®' Seed for Pastures

Plantain is a fast establishing mineral-rich perennial grazing herb suited to a wide range of soil. The deep coarse root system confers drought tolerance and growth responds quickly after dry conditions. Pastures with plantain offer fodder benefits for animals in the form of elevated levels of important minerals such as Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium. 

Special Features:

  • High in protein and resistant to drought.
  • Often added into regular grass and clover mixes to improve grazing quality of a permanent pasture.
  • Increase live weight production in sheep.

Management:
