Rough Meadow Grass (Poa trivialis)

A native, loosely tufted perennial grass species that can grow in a variety of soil types and conditions and provides important feed source for animals during the winter months.  

Used in wildflower seed mixtures, meadow mixes and agricultural seed mixtures.

Management:

  • Quick and reliable gemination 7 to 10 days
  • Usually sown in a mix with other wet ground tolerant species such as timothy and meadow fescue.
  • Unfussy grass that can be used in wetlands and shady areas.
