4.2 is a very productive species rich clover/grass mix suitable for grazing, hay and silage. It is especially suited for soils that are light and tend to dry up. This long term mix has an increased proportion of drought resistant species such as Red Clover, Cocksfoot, Festulolium, Timothy and Fescues and no Perennial Ryegrass at all. 10kg bag. 100% organic seed. Pastures with a diverse mixture of species provide numerous benefits. Clovers and other legumes produce nitrogen and high protein feed. The inclusion of deep rooting grasses provide resilience to drought and improve soil stucture. A balanced mixture with a good variety of grasses, clovers and herbs will fill the ecological niches of the pasture. This makes them higher yielding than monocultures and better at keeping weeds out. 4.2 is very productive and can be used for grazing, zero grazing, silage or hay.
