Charlotte Seed Potatoes
- Salad/second early RHS Award of Garden Merit.
- Medium/high susceptible to blight.
- Virus and scab resistance.
- White/yellow long oval tubers. Yellow flesh.
- Excellent hot or cold in salads, or fried and incorporated into a Spanish omelette.
- Matures as a late first early variety, towards the end of June when you can lift a good amount of medium sized oval tubers with a very fine flavour.
- When young, Charlotte potatoes are very waxy, perfect served hot or cold, and often recommended by top chefs.
A 500g bag of 35-55mm size potatoes contains 6-7 tubers for trying out. A 2kg bag contains approx. 24-28 tubers - enough to plant approx. 5-7m². A 10kg bag covers approx. 25-40m². A 25kg bag covers approx. 70-100m².
