Belle De Fontenay - Untreated Seed Potatoes
Belle de Fontenay is an early Maincrop. A classic French salad potato - good substitute for Pink Fir Apple which is not available this season. Smooth buttery texture with great flavour. Conventional untreated seed. More details below.
Belle De Fontenay - Seed Potatoes
- Long oval shape, often with a slight curve and golden skin
- Renowned for excellent texture and flavour
- We recommend that you start chitting / sprouting Belled De Fontenay potatoes in the beginning of March. This will give them four to five weeks to develop healthy sprouts just at the time when they are ready to be planted out. Keep the potatoes in cool but light conditions to ensure they grow short, green sprouts.
- Ideal for autumn potato salads.
