Clary Sage
Clary sage (Salvia sclarea) has long been used for medicinal and culinary purposes, but with its pale blue flowers and striking pink bracts it also makes a highly attractive addition to the garden. Strongly scented when in bloom, clary sage is much loved by bees and other beneficial pollinators. Each packet contains 0.5g of organic seed. More details below.
Organic Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea) Seeds

Growing schedule: Sow indoors from March or direct outside once all risk of frost has passed until July. Clary Sage plants establish their leaves and a healthy root system in the first year, flowering only in their second year. Sow over successive years for yearly flowering.

Growing conditions: Clary sage prefers full sun but can tolerate light shade and grows best in moderately fertile, moist but free-draining soil. Does not like boggy conditions.
