Organic Wild (Perennial) Rocket Seed (Diplotaxis tenuifolia)

Growing schedule: Sow indoors from January or direct outside from April to July. For a late crop, sow indoors in August. Sow indoors in September for an early crop the following year.

Sowing depth: 0.5 - 1cm

Planting distance: 15 x 25cm

Germination: The ideal germination temperature is 20-25°C but seeds will still germinate down to much lower temperatures.

Growing conditions: Rocket prefers fertile, moist, well-draining soil. It is a cool-weather plant and tends to bolt in hot weather so keep well-watered in the summer months. Early and late sowings can be preferable.

Harvest: Wild rocket is slower growing than annual varieties such as 'Ruca' but it can be harvested over a longer period. Pick leaves as required.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 1000 seeds, enough to cover 10m².
