Pepper Chilli 'Positano'
Positano is a medium to hot chilli pepper that produces fruits 6-8 cm long. The green peppers ripen to red in groups upright on the plant making them easy to harvest. An excellent variety for drying to produce chilli powder or flakes. 25 seeds. More details below
Organic Pepper 'Positano' seeds
Growing schedule: Sow from mid-Jan to late March in a propagator or on a warm windowsill in a lidded seed tray. Pot on into larger pots as needed until temperatures are warm enough to transfer into a polytunnel or glasshouse in May.
Sowing depth: 1cm
Germination: Pepper seeds germinate most successfully between 20-24 °C. Once seedlings appear, temperature should be reduced to 16-18°C
Planting distance: 70 x 50 cm
Growing conditions: Peppers require full sun, warmth and fertile, moist, well-draining soil. They are cold sensitive.
