Leaf Beet 'Verde da Taglio'

‘Verde da Taglio’ is a perpetual spinach beet with fine leaves and succulent midribs. It is high yielding and can be used for cut-and-come-again harvesting. Each packet contains 5g of organic seed. More details below. 

Organic Leaf Beet 'Verde da Taglio' Seeds

Sowing schedule: Sow under cover from March or direct outdoors from mid-April to July. Sow under cover in August for an early crop the following year. For overwintering, plants should be at least 10cm high by the beginning of winter.

Sowing depth: 2 - 3cm

Planting distance: 30 x 40cm

Growing conditions: 'Verde da Taglio' will thrive in fertile soil that is moist and free draining.

Harvest: Pick only some of the outer leaves from each plant and plants will continue to grow and produce more.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains 5g of organic seed.
