Organic Lettuce 'Little Gem' Seeds
Growing schedule: Sow under cover from February or direct outside from April to July. For an autumn/winter harvest, sow in late summer for growing indoors or under cloches. Sow successively for continuous cropping.
Sowing depth: Cover with only a thin layer of soil as lettuce seeds need light to germinate.
Germination: Ideal germination temperature is 10-15 °C, max. 18 °C.
Planting distances: Space plants 20 – 30cm apart.
Growing conditions: Lettuce doesn’t do well in high temperatures – it enjoys full sun, but may benefit from partial shade in the hotter months of the year. It grows best in moist, well-draining soil.
Number of Seeds: Each packet contains approximately 200 seeds.
