Organic 'Ovired' Little Gem Cos Lettuce Seeds

Growing schedule: Sow under cover from January or direct outside from April to July. For a late crop, sow in late summer for growing indoors or under cloches. Sow successively for continuous cropping.

Sowing depth: Cover with only a thin layer of soil as lettuce seeds need light to germinate.

Germination: Ideal germination temperature is 10-15 °C, max. 18 °C.

Planting distances: Space plants 25 x 25 cm apart in a greenhouse or polytunnel; in open ground ca. 30 x 30 cm.

Growing conditions: Lettuce doesn’t do well in high temperatures – it enjoys full sun, but may benefit from partial shade in the hotter months of the year. It grows best in moist, well-draining soil.

Number of Seeds: Each packet contains 0.25g of organic seed (approx 200 seeds)
