Organic 'White Lisbon' Lettuce Seeds

Growing schedule: Sow in modules from February to early April and plant out in late spring. Direct sow from Mid march to July

Sowing depth: 1-2cm

Germination: Onions can germinate from around 4°C but the optimum germination temperature is around 20°C. Use a propagator or a warm windowsill to germinate seeds. Once germinated, they can benefit from consistent gentle heat but can also grow on in an unheated polytunnel or glasshouse.

Planting distance: Leave 25-30 cm between rows; thin to 5 cm between plants.

Growing conditions: Onions like full sun and fertile, well-draining soil. If soil is very acidic, add lime. Keep beds well weeded as onions don't do well when there is a lot of weeds

Harvest & storage: Vigourous and quick to mature - harvest from July to Oct.

Number of Seeds: Each packet contains 9g approximately 900 organic seeds, enough for 700 plants
