Parsley 'Moss Curled'
Parsley (Petroselinum crispum) is traditionally used as a culinary herb, with a bright and fresh flavour, eaten both cooked and raw. This parsley has curled dark-green leaves on strong stalks and a milder taste than flat-leaf varieties. Parsley is a biennial plant which readily self-seeds. Each packet contains approximately 600 organic seeds. More details below.

Organic Parsley 'Moss Curled' seed (Petroselinum crispum)
Growing schedule: Sow under cover from March or outside from April to mid-July. Plants sown in June and July will provide a winter and spring crop - and they will flower the following summer. Late sowings in August in the polytunnel will be slow to develop but can provide a good crop the following year.
Sowing depth: 1 - 2cm
Germination: Parsley tends to have a low germination rate and can be slow to germinate. Seeds will germinate between 5-32°C but higher temperatures (ideally 21-27°C) will improve and speed up germination.
Planting distance: 30 x 20 cm
Growing conditions: Parsley grows best with full sun to partial shade in moist, rich, deep, well-drained soil.
Harvest: Leaves and stems can be harvested over time and the plant will continue to grow back vigorously.
Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 600 organic seeds, enough to cover 4m².
