Okatsune’s shears are masterfully forged in the Izumo region of Japan. Featuring a minimal yet robust design, with white oak handles and the finest Izumo Yasugi steel. The wood from Japanese white oak is known to absorb vibrations, finished with traditional red and white colouring symbolising good luck. The steel is revered for its toughness due to high carbon content and was traditionally used in samurai swords.
