Opinel Folding Knives
The Opinel knives are named after their French inventor Jospeh Opinel who invented the knife in 1890. His simple and sturdy design is now sold all over the world in various forms, however the classic design remains immensely popular to this day. This timeless knife is for people who enjoy the outdoors, a must-have tool for professional or amateur handymen. It is used everywhere from the garden to the table, a knife that is given as a gift and passed down to loved ones.
We currently stock four sizes, with a mix of carbon and stainless steel blades – all with classic twist lock and wooden handle. Produced and designed in Europe.

What’s the difference with Carbon and Stainless Steel?
Carbon Steel has a high carbon content and creates a stronger blade which can be sharpened more readily, while the stainless steel blade contains more chromium for a shinier finish and rust resistance (but is harder to sharpen)
