Penetrating Priming Oil

Dubno 262 is a priming oil which is used as a pre-treatment of interior wood before using a layer forming stain finish such as Kaldet 270. The primer deepens the colour of the grain and preserves the wood. The stain adds colour tones and a resistant outer layer. For exterior use, it is the best primer for absorbent tropical woods.

As it does not contain orange oils it is ideal for use on beehives as a way to preserve the wood without irritating the bees. It can be then sealed with 2 coats of Kaldet wood stain in shades that don't contain orange oil: 012 spruce, 022 boxwood, 032 pine, 052 brasil, 056 sea buckthorn, 076 oak, 113 green, 116 lime, 122 ultramarine blue, 124 country blue, 126 cornflower, 134 lilac, 202 white, 203 light and 416 blood orange.

Ingredients - Full Declaration - Linseed oil, isoaliphates and drying agents free of lead (Mn, Zr).

Applying Priming Oil

Preparation - Best results will be achieved if surface is sanded, clean and dry. Stir thoroughly before using.

Coverage - Depending on the wood type, 1L can be expected to cover approximately 15m². The coverage could be considerably more depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.
