HUMAC® Agro Soil Conditioner Powder
Humic acids are organic molecules formed from decaying matter. By providing essential nutrients, trace elements & minerals they play essential roles in improving soil properties and plant growth. By applying Humic Acids you can increase yields and significantly reduce the need for fertilizers by up to 50%, as it makes nutrient elements present in the soil more readily available for uptake. Humac is made from Leonardite deposits. Leonardites have extrememly high levels of humic acid and have a a molecular structure which promotes bioactivity.
Applying Humic Acids
Humic acids require some time to fully reveal their positive effect on soil and plants. Therefore, it is best to apply the product in the period from autumn to early spring before planting. However, it can be applied at any time during the growing season. For best results, it is recommended to work in the product into the top 10 cm layer of soil. If conditions do not allow this type of application, the product can easily be spread on the soil surface. Repeat applications are recommended after every 3–4 years.
Application Rates:
- Vegetable & Ornamental Gardens: 2-3kg per 100m²
- Trees & Hedges: 200g-400g per tree or hedging plant
- Grassland: use Humac Agro in pellet form
