Organic Brussels Sprouts 'Irish Glacier' seeds
Growing schedule: Sow in modules from March to early May for transplanting outdoors (after hardening off) from April.
Sowing depth: 1cm
Germination: Brussels Sprouts will germinate between 7-29°C, with 15-20°C the optimal temperature range.
Planting distance: 50 x 50 cm
Growing conditions: Brussels Sprouts grows best in full sun and prefers fertile, moist, well-draining soil with plenty of organic matter. Brussels Sprouts can tolerate a slightly alkaline pH - add lime to particularly acidic soil, especially where clubroot might be an issue.
Crop rotation: Brussels Sprouts is a brassica and should be grouped in planting rotation plans with other members of the Brassicaceae family such as cabbage, kale, broccoli, kohlrabi, rocket, turnip, mustard leaf and radish.
Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 300 organic seeds.
