€3.45

'Emergo' is a very robust and vigorous runner bean variety that can cope with windy conditions and has good disease resistance.  It has white flowers and produces tasty long green pods with black seeds. Organic Runner Bean 'Emergo' Seeds

Growing schedule: Sow direct outdoors from late May to June, once soil temperatures have reached 10°C and risk of frost has passed. Seeds can also be sown earlier in pots and planted out from late May. Runner beans usually produce pods over a fairly long period so one sowing is usually sufficient.

Sowing depth: 2-3cm

Planting distance: 40cm between plants; 70-150cm between rows.

Growing conditions: Runner beans grow best in a sunny position in well-draining, fertile soil. They are frost sensitive. 'Emergo' can cope with some wind exposure but will equally thrive in a sheltered position.

Harvest: Pick beans as soon as they are ready - the more you pick, the more the plants will produce.

Number of seeds: Each packet contains approximately 60 organic seeds.
