Magnesium Foliar Feed

Magnesium deficiency can show as yellowing between leaf veins followed by general necrosis and falling of the leaves. An over-fertilisation of potassium can lead to magnesium deficiency as plants take up potassium in preference to magnesium. Magnesium deficiency is quite common in tomato and strawberry crops.

• If Mg is deficient the resultant shortage of chlorophyll causes poor and stunted plant growth.

• Magnesium helps prevent botrytis and bacterial soft rot.

• If soil has a low pH, dolomite lime can be added to increase the pH and supply Mg at the same time.

• Approved for use in organic agriculture.

• 1.4% total Calcium (CaO) 25g/l, 25% Total Magnesium Oxide (MgO) 400g/l

• Minor constituents 1.6% (w/w) Seaweed

Application

• Shake well before use
• 3-5L/ha at a dilution of 1% (30ml in 5L for 100m²)
• Vegetables - 1-2 applications as soon as leaf mass has developed
• Strawberries - 2-3 applications from green buds
